This 55,000sf Type IIB structure is steel framed with brick and EIFS facade. The 4.5-acre lot is part of a 40-acre site development complete with multiple retention ponds, underground utility infrastructure, concrete curb and gutter, asphalt paving, landscaping and irrigation.
Scope of Services: Project site planning and selection, traffic study, property acquisition, programming, budgeting, cost segregation, construction management, state certification, and continued building maintenance to date

Location: Bay City, Michigan
Project Description: Two-story multi-use office building with integrated 12-bed hospice care facility, medical retail storefront and specialized pharmacy. This 28,500sf Type IIB structure is steel framed with brick and EIFS facade. The 4.8-acre lot is part of a 6-acre site development, including an additional 1.2- acre vacant out lot complete with multiple retention ponds, underground utility infrastructure, concrete curb and gutter, asphalt paving, landscaping and irrigation.
Scope of Services: General Contractor. DCC Construction was contracted through a design-build agreement and assisted in land acquisition, utility variances, programming, site layout, building code compliances, state regulation compliances, state certifications and continued building maintenance to date
Bay City Hospice Care Facility Addition
Location: Bay City, Michigan
Project Description: DCC completed the construction of the original Visiting Nurses facility in March of 2006. In the fall of 2009, McLaren contracted DCC to expand the Bay City’s Brian’s House portion of the facility with a 4,900sf addition to accommodate high patient volumes and eliminate the patient waiting list. The addition consists of a new patient wing with 6 new private patient rooms with private restrooms, a shower room, sunroom and access to the newly renovated hospice gardens.
Scope of Services: Planning, engineering township review and approval, budgeting construction management state certification and continued building maintenance
Ambulatory Surgical and Imaging Center
Location:Flint, MI
Project Description: Single story multi-use medical building combining 4 operating rooms and 3 special procedure ambulatory surgical suites within McLaren’s medical imaging center containing 2 CT Scan suites, 3 ultra sound rooms, 4 mammography rooms, 2 general radiation rooms. This 30,000sf structure is steel framed with brick facade accented with composite architectural metal panels and custom canopies. The facility sits on a very tight 2-acre site development which includes an underground retention system, underground utility infrastructure, concrete curb and gutter, asphalt paving, landscaping and irrigation.

TomoTherapy Vault Addition
Mercy Medical Center
Location: Canton, OH
Project Description: TomoTherapy treatment vault addition to the existing Mercy Medical Center hospital in Canton, OH. Construction of the addition included 3’ thick concrete walls, slab and deck built on eleven 3’ diameter 30’ deep caissons adjacent to an existing underground pedestrian tunnel.

Project Description: New 4,800sf Dental Office includes two full-time dentists with six hygiene stations. Building includes lobby with open ceilings, two surgical stations, sterilization room and in house lab.

McLaren Central Laboratory
Interior Renovations
Location: Flint, MI
Project Description: 40,000 SF Interior renovation of an existing mixed use building into a state of the art medical laboratory facility complete with loading dock, administrative facilities, over 24,000sf of Chemistry, Hystology, walk in specimen coolers and freezers, emergency generators, Building Management System, ASite improvements consisting of sidewalk replacements, underground utility upgrades/rerouting, site lighting & perimeter landscaping.
Scope of Services: DCC Construction was the Construction Manager for this facility and worked directly with the Project Architect in a Design/Build capacity to finalize design while reducing costs & maintaining a very demanding schedule.
McLaren Education Building
Location: Flint, MI 48532
Project Description: Three (3) Story Medical Training, Education and Rehabilitation Facility. This 37,200sf structure including 44 exam rooms and a complete pulmonary rehabilitation facility is steel framed with brick and EIFS facade and sits on 6 acres complete with a retention pond, underground storm, water, sanitary and storm infrastructure, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, asphalt paving and nature path, retaining walls and a huge concrete patio.
